Ok, now to the goodies….
Dermala Acne Pimple Patches received full size value $9.99
I’ve never used a product like this even when I did have more recurrent breakouts. I have been lucky and haven’t experienced much issues with acne in the last few years, so not sure how often I will be trying this out, but I love that this company is all about maintaining the skin’s microbiome instead of destroying it like many conventional acne treatments do. These come in a sheet of 36 clear adhesive dots that help to heal your blemished by absorbing excess oil and pus. You can leave the dots on your pimples for a few hours or overnights to speed up the healing. The only ingredient listed is hydrocolloid. (VEGAN)
Good Medicine Honeybee Blossoming Revelation Mask received 1oz value $16/full size 2 oz $32
I have tried a handful of Good Medicine products and have pretty much liked everything I’ve tried. This mask has been on my Good Medicine wishlist for a while now, so when I saw it as an option for the box, I didn’t hesitate to choose it. As I’ve aged my skin has become dryer, so I am all about products that boost hydration, seal in moisture and reverse dullness. This mask is a honey based mask and honey is such a fabulous ingredient for hydrating skin, as well as balancing it. I also love that it is quick and easy to use–the directions say to leave it on for only a minute or two! As a busy mom, I can definitely appreciate that, but who doesn’t love glory skin an a flash, right? I’m thinking this one will be a hit! I’ll report back on my IG feed.
Rutz Naturals Physical Attraction Hydrating Serum received .5 fl oz value $25/full size 1oz $48
This brand is completely new to me, so I was excited to try it out. Of course, I chose the hydrating serum because yaaasss to all the moisture my skin can get! This serum is supposed to help restore lost hydration due to age and environment, as well as boost collagen and elasticity, minimize fine lines, wrinkles and redness. If it lives up to those claims, I will be one happy mama! The bottle also says it is infused with reiki energy;truth be told, I have no idea what that means. School me please!(VEGAN)
Sahajan Restorative Eye Cream received 8ml value $25.60/full size 15ml $48
I tried a sample of this in another subscription box a while back and liked it. Honestly, I’m not an eye cream type of girl because it’s just one more step in my skin care routine that I currently have no time for. But for those looking for an eye cream, you might want to check it out. It’s an organic, ayurvedic blend that helps fade dark circles and smooth lines (so it says) for a more youthful brighter eye area. This formula contains honey, so it is not vegan.
Curandera Remedies Amber Body Oil received 1 oz value $3.75/full size 4 oz $15
Last but not least is this Amber body oil! I love a good body oil and was really happy with the perfume I received by Curandera Remedies a few boxes back, so I decided to give their body oil a try. The scent is very much of Amber (hence the name), so if that’s not your thing, skip this scent and try one of their others. The scent is musky and spicy and the oil itself is light and absorbs very quickly into the skin. If you have been wanting to try a body oil, but haven’t because you don’t like heavy or greasy oils, I’d definitely suggest this one. It is a “dry” oil and absorbs super quickly into the skin, which is a plus because you don’t have to wait around to get dressed. The scent is quite strong, in my opinion, but fades a little as the day goes on. I’d love to check out the other body oil scents!
So there you have it guys, now let’s tally it up, do the math and see the savings! The cost of the Good Being box is $24.99, but the total value of the August box is $80.34! Once again Good Being has blown me away with the value of each box month after month.
